is an inner journey mapped out in various dichotomies. As I make them and they make me , these pairs appear: search/encounter, ascent/descent, escape/prison, inside/outside, past/present, hope/fascination, far/near, labyrinth/path, map/drift, explosion/implosion, suffocation/discovery, light/tangle, …translating into an unfinished visual landscape woven through lines, colors, textures and contrasts.
I went back to yarns and illustrating through weaving. The creative process starts with the sketch, but then I'm always running away from it because the material takes me to other places. It's a construction/deconstruction process that I like a lot.
